A new chart every two hours
Where BaZi reads who you are, Qi Men reads the moment. The chart turns with every 时辰, and Auspica Qi Men casts it the way a reference chart prints it: the 局 from the solar term, the 值符 and 值使 from the hour, the four layers in each palace.

八门 · The eight doors
Eight doors turn around the nine palaces every hour.
Three are counted auspicious, three are doors to avoid and two are neutral. In each palace the door says what kind of action the hour suits, and the app paints every one.
休门Rest Door
One of the three auspicious doors
The door of rest and quiet, at home in 坎1 North. Texts favour it for calling on people in authority, asking favours, resting and quiet repair.
生门Life Door
One of the three auspicious doors
The door of growth and livelihood, at home in 艮8 Northeast. Texts favour it for seeking wealth, building, planting and anything meant to increase.
伤门Harm Door
One of the doors to avoid
The door of harm and contest, at home in 震3 East. Texts read it as unfavourable for most matters and suited only to hunting, contests and collecting what is owed.
杜门Block Door
Usually counted neutral
The door of closing and hiding, at home in 巽4 Southeast. Texts read it as poor for open dealings but useful for keeping out of sight, guarding what is private and working alone.
景门View Door

The door of view and display, at home in 离9 South. Texts favour it for documents, presenting and making things known, with the reminder that what is shown is also exposed.
死门Death Door
One of the doors to avoid
The door of endings, at home in 坤2 Southwest. Texts read it as unfavourable for starting anything and keep it for endings and closing matters.
惊门Fright Door

开门Open Door
One of the three auspicious doors
The door of opening, at home in 乾6 Northwest. Texts favour it for starting work, travel, meeting people and taking up a post, and often read it as the strongest of the three auspicious doors.

Is Qi Men Pro the same as Auspica Pro or Zi Wei Pro?
No. They are separate subscriptions for separate apps. Neither Auspica Pro nor Zi Wei Pro includes Qi Men Pro, and Qi Men Pro includes neither of them. One account can hold all three.
What is 时家奇门?
Qi Men Dun Jia has charts for the year, the month, the day and the hour. 时家奇门 is the hour chart, the one used for timing: it changes with every 时辰, every two hours. The app casts it on the 拆补 method, with 置闰 in Settings.
Do I need an account?
No. The hour chart, Now and the Compass work without one. An Auspica account carries Qi Men Pro from phone to phone, and the same account signs in to Auspica and Auspica Zi Wei.
Why is Pro sold on this website?
The Android app has no in-app purchases. Subscribe here, then sign in to the app with the same address, and Pro is there.
How do I cancel?
From your account page on this website, where the billing page cancels the subscription or changes the card. Pro lasts until the end of the period you have paid for and does not renew after that.
